OnCore is comprehensive clinical and translational research management software comprised of two specific products—Clinical Research Management software (OnCore-CRM) and Biospecimen Management software (OnCore-BSM).
OnCore-CRM software provides a rich set of functionality to manage all aspects of clinical trials, including study administration, subject life cycle management, subject safety management, clinical data capture, and financials management including budgeting and invoicing.
OnCore-BSM software supports all aspects of biospecimen and biorepository management from scheduling, collection, and annotation, through specimen processing, storage, quality assurance, and requisition to withdrawal, distribution, and depletion. It is a web-based system that includes support for key workflow, specimen-centric data storage, and access controls based on patient consent and researcher intent. It has been architected to support logically centralized but physically distributed specimen collection and banking. Plus, it is fully integrated with the OnCore clinical research management system to provide support for correlative studies as well as prospective banking.
OnCore-BSM software has been developed in accordance with the published NCI caBIG compatibility guidelines and the relevant portions of the Office of Biorepositories and Biospecimen Research guidelines.
