Onsemble Community
Achieving Excellence in Research Operations
Networking, advocacy, and learning opportunities are all important resources for people interested in operational excellence in clinical research. The OnCore People host community resources like conferences, newsletters, websites, and ListServs as a service to the research community.
The Onsemble Community
en•sem•ble: a group producing a single effect.
Onsemble® is a community of people who are committed to excellence in cancer clinical research operations. Onsemble members share best practices, contribute to an ever-growing knowledge base, and provide input into OnCore's evolution.
Resources available to Onsemble members include the Onsemble Notes newsletter, the Onsemble.net website, ListServs, and semi-annual Onsemble conferences.
ODEAN - The Oncore Developer & Adopter Network
This group of innovators are working together and with The OnCore People to extend and improve the informatics infrastructures of their organizations. Early work has focused on the desire to be able to share resources for OnCore. Projects in this area include sharing electronic case report forms and custom reports.
Additionally, this collaborative spirit is being carried over into complementary technologies. Examples of this include research centers addressing their local needs by adopting home-grown or third-party tools to leverage information from the OnCore database. The OnCore Developer and Adopter Network (ODEAN) provides a formal environment for developers to share their innovations with their colleagues at other institutions.
In support of ODEAN initiatives, a ListServ and other resources are available.
ODEAN is pronounced (O•day•on). It is a play on "Odeon," a building used for musical performances in ancient Greece.
